tantra...kosha....yoga, heat, and august 2010

here is a photo of me at golgusa, a zen korean buddhist temple in south korea from march, 2010. this teacher's name is musan & he is a french fellow who is most awesome at sunmudoh, a korean zen martial art. i stayed here for only two days and i'm still ready for more of this experience. i'll so be back. photo by my russian friend, alexander pototsky.

august is a hot & humid marshmallow sitting on everyone's lap. it's just so darn heavy...a real challenge to keep cool inside and out. i'm taking two teacher trainings with yogarupa rod stryker and i'm so excited! like, so so excited! i love being in this world of yoga people, parayogis are really the most interesting people i've met.

i learned about tantra (not the sex, silly) and will learn about kosha. just the very beginning of these huge fields. so much to learn. very humbling. especially in this oppressive heat. time to law low, move slow and t h i n k.
