calm calm calm

this is a cat i used to have..."nasty". joe cannon named her because she had a nasty, neurotic disposition. she used to jump vertically to get onto my kitchen shelves and knock down everything from jars of sugar to dishes.

once, in a wild rage, i whipped her with a pair of wet blue jeans. i reacted very poorly to her uncontrollably anxious behavior. i let her bring out the worst in me...i had to be the more neurotic of the two of us. me vs cat...& actually, she won because i acted out of my dharma, my natural code. she had no choice but to be a cat; a nervous, annoying, jittery cat. i had the choice to be human, for goodness' sake, and i acted like a primate around her. often. i only beat her with wet blue jeans once, but i yelled at her often.

she tested every part of my organized mind! ah....nasty. in the end, she found a home with someone who not only tolerated her behavior, but likes it. good for them. two peas in a pod, i say, for me, i was the nastier of the two of us. & no, i didn't do much yoga when she lived with me!
