friends, puerto rico is a lovely place to visit. the people are as warm as the sun and, friends, the ocean in PR can't be the same atlantic ocean that i grew up with on the jersey shore. the PR atlantic is warmer, more complex, saltier. maybe that's because i'm more of those things, too. above and below are pics of my bro-in-law, tom, & i honoring our favorite PR parrot. this parrot's head is cocked to a side and he climbs using his beak sideways. smart birdy! i'll try that after i'm less salty.
