my teacher! woohoo!

i just wrapped up spending 10 days with my yoga teacher, rod stryker. he is the coolest, really. it's easy to idol worship someone you respect, but seriously, if you met him you'd see what a great guy he is. he's charming, likable, a great conversationalist, intelligent, interesting & someone you would hang out with despite the fact that he is a yoga master.

i learned lots during this training...the yoga of fulfillment. we searched for our mission statements, our jiva code. we promised to give up a bad habit for 40 days. we set forth an intention.

my working dharma code (personal mission statement) is: "i turn towards spirit to share warmth and love". my bad habit i'm happy to KICK is multi-tasking. i'm out of control in this department. the intention i set forth is, "i am silent to make peace with my family", which means that i'll  meditate & be quiet every day in order to be calm in the storm that is my family. i don't need luck, just determination. i'm going to meditate right now.

i hope that everyone can do this training - it's powerful mojo. magical science, this yoga stuff! thank you, yogarupa.
