what i need right now. sigh.

wow, i've had the craziest day of what seems like colloasal time wasting. i worked for 90 minutes on the newest bright and beautiful newsletter that only 25% of was saved. chimpmail (boo) says that it autosaves your work every 20 seconds. but it didn't. not even close. when i chatted w/their text support they said that there's nothing they could do to retrieve the lost work and they suggested that i work offline next time using dreamweaver. great, i'm supposed to buy, learn and use another program to post a newsletter online through a service that supposedly specializes in printing newsletters. i spent an additional 20+ minutes chatting all that out.

earlier today, i was also having connectivity issues. i spent over an hour on the phone with clear (boo)  who said that i should move the modem 1/4 of an inch and wait 10 seconds to find where i get the best reception. a) i've done this twice already b) i have 7 windows in my apartment, one of them 4 feet wide. 1/4" at 10 seconds at a time is a long time and hoping for one more reception light on the modem c) there's nothing more they can do to provide more consistent service.

are these two issues related? probably, as far as this earthly plane goes. are they related on the cosmic plane? absolutely. i need get off line (what am i doing now?), slow down, and cultivate some...patience. another very long day to relearn a valuable lesson.
