brrrrrr!

woah, what happened? it got cold. COLD! i spent 3 hours last wednesday closing up the back porch garden, just in time. nothing is freezing yet, but dying things need to die in peace. we had a CRAZY wind storm these last two days that pretty much killed my dahlia flowers that were left on the porch. every other vulnerable plant was already tucked away. i love this season. autumn is a radical change from summer and serves as a transition to my former favorite season, winter.

i think i love the colder seasons because i'm forced to consider warmth. i don't mind working to be warm,  but i mind working to cool off. perhaps this is because i have lots of heat already, lots of energy, and i'm always burning candles on all ends. this autumn is different, though. i'm not burning as many candles and i'm excited to learn how to keep warm with out burning out.

and oh, here is a photo of a car that hit me from behind last month, then the guy tried to blame me at the police station. sweet. he was an attorney dressed in all white, even his shoes and his teeth. i wondered if he were a member of some cult but i don't think cult members would be the type to blame others since they're so absorbed in being told how to think.
