choga

so, i just taught yoga to margaret cho, and i'm calling it "choga". i'm a fan because she's a pioneer on so many fronts. she's an inspirational korean american performer and note that she's korean AMERICAN. her view is totally unique to media as an american born korean performer. i dig her work and, to boot, she's really really nice.

i taught choga to her, her opening act john and the merch woman, jessie. a great group with nice energy. i'm looking forward to seeing her perform tonight at the chicago theater! i want to ask her to sing in my dream band, KGA, korean girl army. we didn't really have time to talk, so i'm totally emailing her management and asking. i'd love to play a show with her. i hope that KGA plays the annual rock show benefit that i produce, "covers for cover", 12/23/10.
